Default Should I powder coat my calipers

I've been thinking about powder coating my calipers on the corvette. I'm kinda undecided at this point. Its going to be quite a bit of work to tear the whole caliper apart and clean it up to get it ready to power coat.

I have the equipment at home to do it, I would just need to order the right color of powder.

If I do powder coat them, what color? I was thinking red, like the Z06s have.

I also was thinking while I have them all torn apart I might go ahead and add stainless steel brakelines.

What do you think?

If you tear the caliper, I highly recommend buying a rebuild kit from GM Parts. Also you will need to have the brakes bleed mechanically and electronically. I would recommend adding the SS lines at this time as well. If you choose not to powerder coat the calipers, then I would paint them with a 2 part epoxy.

on a pewter car, I'd go with black calipers. red will clash with that color, in my opinion.

Or, even better, have them polished.
