Does anyone know how to install a 160 thermostat on a 04 ZO6???

Default Does anyone know how to install a 160 thermostat on a 04 ZO6???

As stated above. i bought a 160 degree thermostat and some filter clener for my intake for my ZO6 from SLP and they sent me a different clener then what i ordered and no instuctions on how to install my thermostat

Default 160 temp

For the 160 thermostat to work, I think you need to have your pcm tuned........

i tried it guys, it was very simple, i just wanted to know where exactly the thermo was, it was a mess but i got it off, then i ran into a problem, SLP sent me the wrong thermo so i had to put it back together, and had to hose down the driveway and refill then went 2 sleep very pissed off because although it didnt take long it was frustating

Do you have to drain radiator? Do you just take it off and lose what coolant you lose and refill? I need to do this on my Z.
