I have the old VR 1B and it made a big difference in the top end when my car was stock. It really helps my engine breath now that she's been head and cammed. Buried the speedo outrunning some bikes. No way the factory air intake would've allowed enough air for that. Definately worth it. Another cool thing is, every time you wash and reuse your filter its like saving 9-12 bucks depending on the air filter you use.

Im going to put my vararam 2B up for sale soon. It has VERY low miles and comes with the "green" filter. I like the vararam the best out of all the intakes, I just took it off because the turbos are going on

Its a good CAI, IMHO. I had the Blackwing for a few years then switched to a Vararam set up. Best time with the BW was 12.3 versus 12.2 with the later added Vararam.
Be warned the install, for the first time user will be 2-3 hours. It is time well spent. I clean me filter once a month. I was amazed how much Crud you can pick up...
