Default License Plate Fill In?

I just sold my SS and bought an 03 vette. It came with the front license plate on it and I cant stand it. I want to buy one of the fill ins that everyone but me seems to have and I cannot find them anywhere. maybe im not typing the correct term in when i search but i have had no luck. Also if someone wants to sell one medium spiral grey so I dont have to paint it that would be great. Im sure I wont be that lucky though. Any help finding this piece would be greatly appreciated. Thanks -Jeff

Unfortunately those are no longer made. I ended up making one myself. It took about 4 hours total and $15 in parts.

That stuff comes up for sale on CF but you have to be fast. That section gets a lot of traffic.

They are not that hard to make yourself. Since I did mine I have found some molding that will look a lot cleaner than the first attempt. I am keeping my eyes open for another Pewter cover to give it a second go around. When I find another one, I will make a write up on the procedure.

You can still buy the ones with screens in them from Halltech. Be warned though, they are crazy expensive.

They still have a few left from their last production run. 'crazy expensive' is an understatement at $250 unpainted.

Would you like me to get a price from the dealership?

As you know, it would need to be painted.
