I mean ive heard them in videos (i did a search) but I want some opinions from someone who has them on their vette or has heard them in person.

When we bought our Z06 it had an exhaust on it (straight pipes) We actually dont know what brand, but its loud as hell. Personally I dont like it, but it's my wifes daily driver and she likes it so we havent changed it.

Loud is one thing and sounding good is another.
I like my bullets because they are a cleaner, deeper, more refined sound.
Just my opinion...

The BORLA XR-1 bullet muffler, is what your talking about I guess. The two, into 1, resonator, back out to two straight pipes, no mufflers, just tips. Right?
If soo, on a bone stock car, stock cats, etc etc. The car sounded very exotic, very DEEEEP,...very refined. People complimented my cousins 02, at the time stock, except for that catback,....they said it was "the best sounding vette they heard". That was a local F-body meeting years back. Soo,...then it sounded good.
Then, we heard it with long tubes, too loud. Sounded great under load but, decel was crazy. Sounded like a C5 R.
Now, we all run B&B bullets, with long tubes. Great great sound.
The BORLA xr1 system was pretty great but, DID have DRONE at crusing speeds.

+1 on the borla longtubes (LG Pro Longtubes) with the ORX pipe and Billy Boat catback no mufflers. Very loud, and just plain scary under WOT. WHPLASH said my car sounded like a jet taking off when I left his house party last week. They heard my car over the music and everything. I didn't even get on it.

Just saw you are in Cali, you won't pass emissions bro. Going to need cats. Good luck. You could always save you factory muffs and put them on in case you stopped for excessive noise.

With that setup...(lg pro's, 3 " off road pipes, B&B bullets) people hear me miles away at WOT on the highways(s). My neighbors describe my car PERFECTLY when they hear me get on the highway, 2 miles away.
Crazy.

How about a loud mid 11 sec car ??
