Is there a "security" light flashing on your dash when it wont crank?

If there is its either the chip in your key going bad or the ignition tumbler. The tumbler is susposed to send a small amount of voltage through the key chip and is the resistance isnt correct the car will not start. 1st try the spare key.

Stupid question...are the battery terminals TIGHT? not over tight to where they would strip out, but snug.

Possibly a ground issue?....
