I keep wondering how a C6 ZO6 would feel with 1010hp instead of 505

I'm still trying to figure out how in the hell the C6 Z kit is almost 10,000.00 MORE than the F body kit, and 7,000.00 more than the C5 kit..

It sounds like theres some SERIOUS butt pounding going on here...Also know as C6 Z06 TAX!!!!!!

(sorry Mark... )

I fuking HATE companies that do this...

I don't think that's fair to say. Their C6Z kit uses much better components (expensive ball bearing turbos, etc). Also they have far fewer potential vehicles to recoup the R&D costs.

All of the above is true and the APS ZO6 twin turbo system also includes a true dual 3 inch stainless steel exhaust system, large engine oil cooler, large 44 mm remote Tail waste gates, an extreme 1000 HP twin pump fuel system, all of which adds to the largely cost of the ZO6 twin turbo system. In addition, the freight cost to the US is around $1000 so the ZO6 twin turbo system is $13,995 in reality.

Understood.....

I also understand thats its also a lower production run (you guys are doing 50 right)

Yes, they should cost more.. There is NO WAY on this earth there is 7 grand in upgrades over and above the C5 kit.. Not a chance on this earth..
400 for an oil cooler, 1200 exhaust, 1500 fuel system, 1500 in turbos, 400 in wastegates.. Even when overinflating some of the parts listed above, you are STILL 2 grand away from the price difference..

It is "Upcharging" plain and simple..

Isnt the C5 kit about 400-500 in shipping?? So the extra exhaust and fuel system costs 600 to ship??? Again, there is NO WAY..

I would ust LOVE to understand how the F-body Twin Turbo kit runs 4995.00 plus about 500 bucks in shipping, but the C6 Z kit costs 13,995 + 1000 in shipping..

Well his location is in Australia so I think that has something to do with the shipping being higher.

Were you thinking about using a C6 Z06 APS TT kit on a C5 Z06?
