need help quick!!!! what RPM to shift a bone stock 07 Z06?

will be running an 07 Z06 tomorrow, as a replacement for my car, that is another story!!!V

as it states, what rpm should i shift it at! i don't know squat about the ls7, and i was thinking no more than 6500 rpm. is that safe?

I watched a C6Z06 get dynoed about two weeks ago when I was having some work done on my C5. The owner of the car said if he shifts any higher than 6200 he is out of his power curve. According to him 6200 was optimal. Maybe other C6Z owners will chime in.

I shift out at 6700. I have run my best times at the track at this shift point.
Many cars are different.

When ranger set those records he was shifting at 6700 right?

i went easy on the launches, not my car! went 11.9 @ 122 mph in the heat!!!

thanks guys, if i only has a couple of more passes i know i had the launch coming around after only 2 passes in the car. it is the most amazing alll around sportscar I have ever driven!
