There is nothing cheap about upgrading Corvettes.

Insurance is very modest on Corvettes as you generally get put into a pool of 50 somethings that don't drive their cars much (meaning few claims).

Yup. My insurance is cheaper for my Z06 than my wife's 4dr Lexus.

Call your insurance company and ask for a quote. I bet you'd be surprised.

my first sports car was a mazda rx8, it was 1000 every 6 months now i have a 99 FRC and its 1100 every 6 months - put that in perspective a ws6 would be 1400 for me and an evo was a whopping 1700 every 6 months, but then again i am 17 so insurance sucks

she-yitt!

I shouldn't laugh, but then I've had broken bones so I call folks on crutches 'gimpy', too.

My insurance for the vette is $427 for six months. but then I'm one of those old farts in the 50+ pool that keeps you other guys insurance rates low. so if you'd like to kiss my a$$, pm me and lets make some arrangements.

I pay $400 every 6 months. The insurance on the Z06 is cheaper than my S10 and my wife's Mazda6. It is classified as a pleasure vehicle and can only be driven 7000 miles a year. That is just another good reason to trailer it to the track.

lots of factors to consider. evo is most expensive car to insure mostly due to amount of accidents and age group typically buying and insuring the car. has awd too which adds more cost. the guy that said his wifes lexus cost more; probably because the insurance co. sees the lexus as more expensive to replace or repair than the vette. id rather have the vette but has nothing to do with our likes.probably same type of the deal for the copra. it has the blower, rwd, age group, amount of wrecks etc.
