Default Need Ideas on C6 ZO6

Well my boss just got a new C6 Z06 and is looking to do something prettty radical with it. Hes thinking twin turbos or something like that. Money really is no object he just asked me of I could do some research and look into what possibilities there are for the LS7. SO if you guys could help me out that would be great, like what you think would be a really good set up and who makes good stuff. I really appreciate it. Ben

I bet money turns into an object when he sees the price tag on that conversion.

-- Look at APS' kit. The one in my sig is their C5 kit. They make one for the C6Z too.

Warhawk block, 454 CID, ported ls7 heads, ls7 intake, headers, aggressive cam, etc.

600+ rwhp n/a, use good forged pistons/rods in the build and add n20 for the track or for rolls against big power turbo cars.

That's what I would do if I had the $$$.

I would just do what a few have said above... Send it off to a shop along with a fat check and you will have a 800hp monster.. You can also tell him to get the basic mods done first, intake and exhaust..

Thanx for all the replies guys. Well I think I have him taked to him all motor now. What are some good head and cam packages. I would send it off to Katech but he is a hands on kinda guy and wants to do it himself, he likes to build his own stuff, thats just the kind of guy he is I think.

So I guess off to my second question, whats the best head a cam package around. He wants to get the most out of it but still keeping it streetable and reliable. Hes lookin for like 100-150hp over stock but if we could get more out of it thats good. And another question is how far can we go on the stock bottom end if we are only going heads and cam and full bolt on. That leads me to another question, whats some of the best headers and exhaust systems out for the new Z06's. Sorry for all the questions guys, I am familiar with the F-Body/LS1 scene but the ls7 and vette are pretty new to me. Thanx again for the help.

You can bump 100+ HP without a head change..Veangence will put over 100HP under the hood with cam, headers, high flow cats, vararam intake and filter and a good tune..they have done it for some of my customers cars...
