My New Build for my 99 Vette For those of you not around the corvette forum, I popped the motor in my APS TT C5 about 2 weeks ago while in Ft. Wayne doing some spirited driving. Cam gear pulled out of cam, ect. Short block had some new valve reliefs and it could have probably be run, but I figured better safe than sorry. So.......here's what I'm working on:
377 LS3 Short Block, stock crank, Eagle H-Beams, Diamond -12.9cc Pistons, various other upgrades.
Patriot Stage II 317 Heads
Lingenfelter GT2-3 Camshaft
Lonnies Double Pumper fuel system
Conversion to 97-98 Fuel Rails/lines
Hoping to have the car back together, tuned, and going again by end of November all said and done. Only going to push it to 12-14 lbs of boost. With this setup though, it should be good for around 700/650 at the wheels. Nice part is that all things considered, it should be VERY quiet and extremely driveable still, a sleeper like I want to keep it.
