At Memphis he was struggling with fuel gremlins in high gear, looks like he found them!

i wonder what this engine builder is doing to keep the motor happy at that power level. 198 mph is no joke!

This engine builder hasn't touched the engine all season. 70 runs on it to date. Lashed the valves 3 times now, changed oil a few times.

Has cometic std. head gaskets on it. No head gasket issues. No bearing issues. No valvetrain issues.

I give a lot of that credit to the block. The LSX block is a good piece, things don't move around in it. Same for the All Pro castings. Good thick castings help out a bunch.

Don't get me wrong, the engine is all top level parts. He didn't hold me back on buying the right stuff... It should have zero problems save for some unforseen bumps in the road.

This thing eats 9000+ rpm like candy.

Cool news! I was pulling for you in Memphis. The way your car launches and keeps pulling with the nose up high is a sight to see!

He trusts his engine builder!!

If I didn't check the lash myself it would never get checked!!

Looks good guys, I would have stopped by in Memphis but none of you were around the trailer the times I went by. I figured you were having problems hence the MPH was way off but it didn't seem you guys were working on it a whole lot. I also went down to Turley's pit but they always seemed to busy thrasing the whole weekend, I did see Kurt and a sandy haired blonde guy but they were talking and I didn't want to interupt any possible important conversations. So I went to Memphis to meet people and learn some things and all I learned was I am outta my leauge. All you guys are top notch Teams with really fast cars ,my hats off to you.

Just walk up and introduce yourself, I came down to meet people also. The problem is with my memory I don't always remember them!

I was just thinking the only reason I recognized you was because of that Green Nova in HotRod mag. Do you still have it? I was around when Turley was lashing his valves and this pic was taken
