You seem to be on the slow side. Look at my sig, I don't have a stall or a tune.
Im guessing you have a stock stall right?? What was the DA??

My wife was out there last night with my SS.

The DA according to her weather station was around 2000'. That stall is very much like stock, so you are close to your potential with it. If you upgrade to a 3200 stall (like a Vig3200 or a Yank 3200) you will see better results.

George hit the nail on the head here. You're doing okay for the mods and DA, but if you want to go faster a higher stall would be next on the list. Also, try launching a little lower on rpm, as you want the converter to "flash" a little so the car will "launch" from the line instead of "pushing" from the line.

My Formula has a stock stall and a few bolt ons, and I've launched it anywhere from 800 rpm to 1400 rpm (most the stock stall would hold), and the 60 foots are better at 850-1000 rpm than higher.

Yea put a real stall in it and it should pick up a lot. The gf's car has gone 7.60s on a 1.58 60ft with a 3200Vig in it, full bolt ons.
