My street car broke into the 5's 1/8 mile We changed the setup around alittle and have finaly got the car running like it should.
Details
2000 TA
440CI LSX
Darts heads ported by Me
Vic jr intake also ported by me
small solid rollr cam (in the upper 600)
Th350 FTI converter no brake
12 bolt 3.73
325 radial
3900+ race weight
Direct port jetted at 28F 34N
Car has everything other than the ac compressor, I removed it for the water pump untill i put the water pump spacer's to get the outlet of the compressor

We think we can click off some 5.7's tomorrow night, it spun alittle on the 5.82 pass and we have it leaving on 20% of the shot, Tomorrow night the track should be better and we will be able to leave alittle harder

we took it to BMP today for a grudge race and ended up with a NPB again.
This was the first full 1/4 hit on the setup
1.368 60ft
3.764 330ft
5.795@120.98
7.552 1,000ft
9.050@149.62
This tune up was alittle softer than we have been running in the 1/8, This being the first full hit i pulled an extra few degrees out. the thing didnt have enough timming in it to do a good burn out the motor just didnt have enough power to keep them spinning lol
O and we won the grudge race, It was a Gbody smallblock on two kits
