The 1000 foot time should give you a 12 second run, but as they say "don't brag about it unless you have the slip in hand."

BTW: The reaction time means nothing in his actual e.t. In bracket racing it matters, but you could cut a perfect light or sit there for 5 seconds and if you launch and shift the same, one run won't be 5 seconds slower.

The 8.5 in the 1/8 looks alittle behind for 12's. However, you picked up the pace on the top side with a 10.86. I'd say you are real close. I grabbed my last time slip.

60'-----1.822
330'----5.374
1/8-----8.350
mph----82.54
1000'---10.93
1/4-----13.112
mph-----103.49

Just for comparison, I have no headers. So I didn't get the topend pace that you have going there. I'd say you are all over the 12.9x's.

Are you guys kidding me?! I have beatin' several stock LS1.. Hell, the DAY I did a 10.86 there was an LS1 there that couldn't touch the 10s! Go start some **** elsewhere. This is a question of if my car could get into the 12s!

I also would like for you to see 12's on several et slips before you boast, or worry about having a 12 second vehicle.

" get better with the reaction time and you will be alot quicker " Several people commented about that
statement not being true. Obama will be president soon, right? That statement is TRUE.

Two cars run the same et. in eliminations, who wins? The vehicle with the best
legal reaction, 100% of the time. That makes one vehicle alot faster, right?

And this statement would be true if he were asking if he would win a race, however he is asking about hitting a number so not very relevent. Now like everyone has siad work on getting your 60ft down and getting consistent and the number will come.

No, that doesn't make the vehicle a lot faster at all The only thing that determines how fast or quick the car is the time from breaking the starting line beam and then tripping the finish line beam. Unless you're racing competitively (which it doesn't seem to be with this guy) then the reaction time is irrelevent in what he wants. Your comment doesn't make sense, it doesn't make one a lot faster, it just means they win per the rules of the sport

FWIW - I think you would be just shy of a 12 sec timeslip. Before my cam/intake swap I was running like 8.5 and a 13.0 in the 1/4 @ 111 (street tires with a 2.1 60'). I know that the LT1 doesn't pull quite as hard up top stock as the LS1 does stock
( had a 95 TA M6) but I think with that particular pass you would have ran 13.1-13.2. Personally I think you will have to run some bottom 8.3s to hit a high 12. With that being said a 8.5 is not too shabby for your mods at all, keep working the launch and shift them gears like you stole it and I do believe a 12 is right around the corner for you. GL

Throw some drag radials on and launch about 2500. You won't have to worry too much about the 10 bolt and you'll get your 12 easily.
