Default First time out. Very pleased with my results!

Took the Z to the track today. It was my first time down the track so I was pretty nervous. The first pass I made was the best. I ended up with a pretty decent time, and had a lot of fun. The 60' could use a lot of work. If I can get it down to 2.00 or so I should be running 12's. Car is a 1998 Z28 with 97k, Longtubes, B+M shifter, and cheap street tires. Very sunny and about 80 degrees as well.

R/T: .472
60': 2.201
330: 5.797
1/8: 8.667
MPH: 86.03
1000: 11.117
1/4: 13.189
MPH: 108.18

HEY! Well done...

You're officially screwed now. The kids college fund... the retirement... ALL GONE. But you'll show great times and have a ton of fun gettin' it done.

Welcome to the obsession...

Well see ya at the track. (Speaking of the track, where were ya runnin')

Haha the college fund would be mine. I'm running at Orlando Speedworld.

Reaction time dude, Work on that. Go when the Third yellow lights up, You'll shave .200 atleast if not more and that puts you in the twelves =)

Reaction wins a race most of the time. Eat them alive on the third yellow

Reaction time helps win races but does not affect E.T. He could sit at the light for 30 seconds and would still run the same time. The clock doesn't start until you cross the beams.

Nice job for your first time out, especially! I agree, get that 60' down to a 2.0 or better and you'll be running high 12s all day!

And unless you plan on doing brackets, etc in the near future, don't worry about your reaction time for now. Worry about being comfortable at the line and launching the car well. Reaction time won't affect your ET.

OSW sucks. My old cobra pulled a 2.1 60ft with DR's

Unless the track is prepped well you'll spin.
