Default First 1/4 mile passes

drove down to jacksonville today and ran the car in the 1/4 for the first time on spray. I ended up with a 9.95 @ 135, 6.36 1/8 with a CRAPPY 1.47 60'. Been having trouble with the car leaving. its still a work in progress. But i was still pretty exited about the times.

the car is a 383 with 5.3 heads, 200 shot, 3,560 lbs.

well the car has been a 10.96 on motor. but thats with the timing pulled out for the N20. Its hard to beleive, but i have never ran the car on motor with all the timing in it. i assume it would probably run around 10.70's. might dip into the 60's.

I have alot of bugs to work out with the suspension. im still on a stock shock in the rear. There are always places where You can spend more money!

yea a 1.47 was on the 9 sec pass. the car has cut a best of 1.36. Like u said, the little tweaks will get it where it needs to be. im also gonna get a progressive controller so i can leave on a little out the gate. Right now i am hitting the switch at around the 60'.

I would agree with using the controller for sure. I just tried for the first time a 75 dry shot off the footbrake Saturday at Darlington, SC. and I was within 2-4 inches of dragging the back bumper so I am told.

The car ran 10.53 NA with a 1.39 60 foot and ran 10.25 with the 75 HP shot off the line with a 1.343 60 foot. It was a ride for sure. I could not even imagine what a 200 shot would feel like.

Congrats on the 9 sec pass. I would love to get down to Florida and get some good air. What was the DA?

well i am not for sure what the DA was, but this was jacksonville NC, and it pretty dang close to sea level if i am correct. the weather was perfect yesterday there to. It was about 60 degrees with a slight breeze at times.
