caviness: we can debate about you might run until we are all blue in the face. just go to a 1/4 track and find out then come back here and tell us what happened

Congrats on the new times, what is the set-up?
BTW, 7.50s would be high 11s, but as mentioned you're carrying more mph than usual for the times since the 60 foot is somewhat sub-par. I'd say mid 11s are possible, but probably not low 11s.

A M6 car will mph better then an A4 , the 96mph in the 1/8 is good but the biggest factor in ET is the momentum your car has to the 330' foot mark. Until you can get the car to do better then 1.7 60' foot times you will be looking at 11.5 to 11.7 sec 1/4 times at probably 120 - 123mph.

thanks guys and ill do better on that 60ft next time, this was my first time with this new settup and mt dr never had good tires before, tring to see how to launch, rpm wise and tire psi, last run i made posted up top launched at 5000rpm's and 21psi,should be able to improve on that i hope.thanks for all the comments that helps me see what i need to do,any more sugestions would help allot.

Exactly, I'd say with that mph you were on your way to high 11.50 pass. Work on that 60 ft. and you have low 11's in the bag. Need to get to like a high 1.5 60ft. to get to the low 11's.

That run was an easy mid-11 pass. I run 7.5 in the 1/8 at 92mph and run 11.7s. By the eight your dead even with me and already trapping 4mph faster. Honestly, it might have been a low 11 run and will easily be a low 11 to high 10 car when it hooks up. What tires are you running?
EDIT: just saw the MT drag radials. With those tires, low 11s should come with more seat time. Throw on some all out slicks with the suspension hooked up right and you might even crack a 10.9 with that power, gearing, weight, and some kickass driving.

96.86 mph in the 1/8 mile is not enough mph to run in the 10's with a six speed car. It is an INDICATION of being ABLE to run low 11's.
Most cars will pick up between 23-25 mph in the back 1/2 of the track. Which equals 121-123 trap speed. To run in the 10's with 123 mph trap speed you need a mid 1.40 sixty foot or better, the key lies in the first 330 feet of the track. Its hard to get a six speed to 60 foot like that, impossible on a drag radial.
You cant apply ricer math to his 1/8 mile MPH and pull and ET out of the sky.
The 7.52 in the 1/8 is an 11.80 1/4 plain and simple.

This is correct 7.52 will never see low 11's if you ran 7.1 @ 96 in the 1/8 I would say you would have an 11.20 pass.
