Default Stock block KYTP TC76 shakedown runs

Well I finally found enough time to get to the track today and make a couple of shakedown passes. This is the first time I have ever ran a car with an auto in it or using a trans brake as well (Thanks Greg @FTI,I absolutely love it). The first pass off the trailer was a 6.97@107.6 off of idle w/ a 1.69 60'. After that I knew it would end up being a good day. I still need to work on my launch rpm and the anti lag feature on the Lingenfelter launch control but a 3600 launch rpm got me a 1.46 60' on the last pass of the day in the video below!

If anyone is interested the car is on a completely stock block with patriot stage 2 heads (59cc) and TSP T.V.3 cam and tuned on E85 w/ 7 psi. The h/c set up is obviously not ideal for a turbo but it is gonna get the job done untill the new motor goes in. Car weighs 3490 w/ me if you're wondering!

Sounds excellent how about some more info. What stall converter are you running? What tires. That is a great 60ft . So that was with no antilag happening?
I have think same lingenfelter two step unit but not installed yet.

What other suspension mods?

The suspension on the front of the car is completely stock including the shocks just lowering springs. The rear is a spooled 3.70 M9 w/ BMR ajustable everything with anti roll bar and also stock shocks! The tires are M/T ET streets 26x11.5x15! The transmission is a TH400 from FTI converters and the stall is roughly 4,000 also from FTI. I am using the launch controller but I am not pulling any timing nor do I think I even hit the rpm cut on the launch yet. So I still have some playing to do! You can see in the video that the boost doesn't really come in good until about 30' out! If I can get the launch better by bringing the boost in sooner then I believe 1.3 short times and low 6.5's are very possible!

Looking good! I can't wait to get my turbo set up to the track.

Looks like a nice setup. 1/8 mile racing can be fun if you have a quick car.

Thanks man, but I would definately prefer a 1/4 mile run. That was the only local track open for TnT!
