Default Norris Motorsports Tuned 2003 Corvette Wins NHRA Stock Eliminator @ Gainesville

Hey All,

I just was amazed on what we accomplished with this Corvette for Horsepower Sales in Pompano Beach. We have worked together for quite a while on this car and to win in Stock Eliminator at an NHRA event is hard to do to say the least.

Here is a link to the post on CF from HP sales with a bunch of info.

Congrats Mike!! Good to see your into some REAL drag racing now. It's amazing how fast those NHRA guys can make one run within the rules limitations. I got back into Super Stock, but sometimes when Jeanie shows me my visa bill I wonder why.

Thanks again Derek.

Hey Ed, long time no talk!! Jim Smith was here this week and I think your name came up a couple times Hopefully all is doing well with you out there. You ought to come for the Gators.

It is crazy what a "stocker" can do and we have yet to pull the pan or heads on this one. Once we do, that is when this starts getting into the VISA category for sure. I can only imagine with a Super Stock car.

Call me sometime and I will see if I can call you when I get freed up.

Congrats. Building a car and actually winning a race in stock is a killer accomplishment.

TA1364, I have always prefered a simple approach as it seems to get good results. I can picture more C5's in Stock Eliminator soon if this keeps up.

Thanks 2x mikey

That's insane. So it's basically a full-weight, bolt-on street car with a stock-lift cam and it's trapping 123mph??? I don't know much about fuel options for these cars but I'm guessing that stuff you use gives it quite a kick? How much does the car weigh without the driver?
