Default New 1/8th PB

DA was around -150 when I made the pass. Car hit the limiter about 40ft from the finish due to leaving the car in 2nd. I think I am going to bump the rev limiter up from 6500 to 6700 so I can complete the 1/8th in 2nd. Letting it shift into 3rd right before the traps gave me 88mph but was always a slower ET.

Congrats on the run.

I know in my Dad's & Brothers cars both with 460LE trannys shift before the 1/8 mile. They both are H/C cars that run in the high 6's to very low 7's in the 1/8th. Maybe you should look into getting the car tuned.

The car is tuned with the limiter set at 6500 and the shift points at 6200. I just ordered a new tune to bump the limiter to 6700 and the shift points to 6400. That should allow me to complete the 1/8th in 2nd with no problem.

I really don't want to go through the hassle of going from 3.42s to 3.73s with the 10bolt. Once it dies I will be going with a Dana60 and 3.73s.
