Tire and Gears are hard to determine without running it.

Im kinda in the same boat - without knowing how much power an all new setup is going to make, converter slip, etc etc, it is really hard to determine the right gears.

I would use a 28" tire and adjust the gears though - taller tire is more forgiving on a hard hit.

28 and 4.30's will work wonders.... we tried 4.56s and it was too much 7400 going 124.. 4.30's will works perfect on motor and 3.89's on the hit, that is my setup. hit me up with questions if you need to through pms....
