Great news.
I saw them at Silver Dollar a few weeks ago and they were trying to sort the car out... I saw them run a 9.3X @ ~150.
I wonder what they did to drop 4 tenths.
Although the DA that day was +1,500... so the lower DA definately helped...

Had the wrong program loaded into the Big Stuff. Broke the serial port cord from the Big Stuff to lap top so was not willing to chance another run that day. Did find another problem after watching the video on that run. was on the wheelie bars to hard causing the wheels to break loose and spin.

So did you adjust the rear or front shocks to solve the wheelie bar issue?

Congrats again Bobby & Morgan (Father/son team!!!) Its been a LONG time coming!!![/QUOTE] Want to thank Ron and the Gang at Veneance Racing for the excellent work the have performed on this car. Pro Line race Engines for the excellent build on the motor. And last but not least the best tuner in the country Steve Petty and Chris Woods his helper.
Veneance and Pro Line perform the best service anyone could ask for and keep you informed thru the entire process even working with you after the build to make sure you have acomplished your goals not just theirs.
Just to let people know this was how it went Friday at the track:
First run off the trailer
9.10 @ 148
DA 920
Run #2
9.07 @ 148.90
Made adjustments to tune
Run #3
9.06 @ 148.88
DA 1235
Run #4
9.06 @154.65
DA 1435
nose dropped because stayed in REV Limiter to long (f *%#up) reason for speed change
Made adjustments to tune
Run #5
9.03 @ 149.77
DA still above 1600
Let the car cool and made adjustment to supin.
Run #6
9.05 @ 149.34
DA still above 1550
Run #7
9.06 @ 149.89
DA still above 1550 and temp at 81
Run #8
Made tire air pressure adjustments
9.06 @ 150.20
DA still above 1500
Made tune adjustments
Run #9
8.982 @ 150.50
DA at 1090
Final run #10
Made suspin adjustments and tune adjustments
8.961 @ 150.77
DA at 392
Weld broke at base of shifter causeing it to lay over. This caused deleys at shift points during run. Who knows what time it might have run.
Looking forward to getting better DA and see just what this car will run. I do beleave it has 8.80's in it. Found out this motor likes to leave at 6400 better then the higher rpm runs. All 60 foots on the first 8 runs was consistent at 1.254, 1.253, 1.254, 1.252, 1.253 and run # 9 was 1.254 and # 10 was 1.248
It is so much fun knowing the car will run down the track each and every time with out skipping, burning plugs, burning pistons and blowing up and of course less expensive (haha)
Again thanks to Vengeance, Pro Line and the Man, the Myth, the legend Steve Petty and each one of them are class acts.

Damn, that is moving! Congrat's guys.
Also it's a LSX427 not a C5R427? Correct.
EDIT: I just talked with a friend and he said that you guys switched back to the C5R Block.
None the less, that is hauling the mail N/A!!
