Default 10.505 @ 127, 1.380 60ft

Got a new PB on Saturday. Went 10.505 @ 127.15 with a decent 1.380 60ft. Pretty happy and first few real wheels up launches

Nice. How much spray are you gonna hit it with? With that intake, the spray will really wake it up!

1.38 60' n/a? either that thing is going to be stupid nasty on the bottle or that converter is too loose.

Thanks, that's what i'm hoping for. I have the fogger pilled for a nice lil 250 shot, I just need to get the fuel side plumbed and wire it all up. Should be fun

Yea, my converter seems to have loosened way up so we'll have to see about that. Should be a good race once all is said and done, can't wait.

Yea, that is where i'm at right now with it. The converter is supposed to be a 3600 stall, last year when I went full out on the brake it came up to ~4000. On Saturday, the car flashed up to ~5500 on the brake so i'm going to call the converter company and talk to them and see what they have to say about it. Last year on my 1 N/A shakedown run it went a 1.45 60ft. I'm really hoping to get it into the 8.9x's this year on the smallest shot possible. I'm hoping to come close on the 250 shot but think it'll go 9.20's, maybe a 300 shot to hit 8's. Here's hoping

That is Sick....Just plain Sick.

Who did your 25.5 spec cage and do you have any pictures?

Also, what is your curb weight if you don't mind me asking? I am thinking of doing something real similar to your setup except with a ls2 402, but you are making me want to go with the iron block.

Yeah, you're probably going to need about a 400 to get to the 8's. I was running 10.31 on motor and then hitting about a 380 to get to 9.33 on my old setup. Granted this was thru a FAST intake. The carb intake should respond better to the spray.

Thanks, it's getting closer to where I want it. I actually have no idea right now what the curb weight of the car is, it's never been weighed by me but i'm hoping somewhere around 3,000lbs, probably a few more though

Here are a few threads I made about the cage

Yea, i'm just having some wishful thinking, i'm still going to hope for the best but i'm prepared to shoot up to 400, just hoping that I don't have to do it
