New times after switching to a N2O converter.
Before switching to the N2O converter the best my car ran was a 10.61 @ 125 w/ 1.39 60' time. That was with a Yank 4000 stall that flashed to 5600 off the trans brake. I sent the verter back to Yank and had them tighten it up so that I can spray the car without blowing through the converter. The new converter is a 3600 that flashes to 4500-4600 off of the brake. Last weekend was the first time I had the car to the track with the new converter. I consistently ran 10.79's @ 126 w/ 1.55 60' times. I am really happy with how this converter feels. It doesn't quite come out of the hole as hard, but it definitely is slipping a lot less on the big end. It also drives a bit nicer on the street.
I have heard of guys losing .5 second or more switching to a N20 converter, so I was very pleased to only loose about .2. I should have a Nitrous Outlet plate on my car in the next couple of weeks. I will probably start by spraying 100 shot, but I would eventually like to spray 200. I want to see if I can get into the 9's on just a 100, do you guys think that might be possible considering my NA times?

Most converters I have experience with usually dont flash exactly where they are rated. Every combo. is different, and the more hp/tq you are making usually raises the flash/ stall point a bit higher. Thus guys spraying N20 need to go to a lower stall rpm so that when the N20 hits it doesn't push through the converter stall speed.

I hope your right about the 100 shot going 9's. I think I will probably just spray a 100 for a while and work my way up to the 200. Its going to take some getting used to moving that fast. See you in July.
