98 Z28 stock motor 101,000 miles lol!
long tubes and ORY
new tranny with YANK SS3600
3.73s in the 10 bolt
mickey thompson 275/50/15 on draglites
best run 8.59@80 1.89 60ft little spin stalling it at 2000 rpm.
most passes were low 8.60's when the car was hot. i thought it would be more snce it ran 8.80's@ 81 2.1 60ft's with just 3.73s no stall or headers.

Try flashing the converter off idle. I wouldn't think you would lose any mph, but sometimes weather can do that. Have you done the regular maintenance on the car after it sit up?
May be time to change the plugs, fuel filter, air filter, plug wires. Just things like that, even try and clean your maf. Is the car throwing any codes?

Your MPH is low IMO, and your 60ft isn't anywhere near what it should be with a stall, gear, and good tire. Those mods should put u at low 8's@84+ in the heat at a slow track.

your car is quick bro..i dont if id be faster. but i agree something is off. might be in the tune. i got a mail order tune from a highly regarded member of this site. i wouldnt blame anything on his work at all. i know hes very good.the car does run better when kikin around town. but maybe i just have one of those freaks that just needs to tuned on a dyno with real time feed back and an LM2 to be right.
