Default My 6spd TA 10 bolt held my first 10 sec pass

Like the title says, my 10 bolt held up to my first 10 second pass. The car is a 98 TA with a LQ4 shortblock with ARP rod bolts, 5.3L heads with LS1 valves installed but still un-ported!, FAST 90/90, NX 150 shot, LT's, ORY, E-Cutout, 160* stat, Lid, stock rear with GM 3.73 used gears, stock stamped steel suspension, V6 front springs, stock rear springs, Comp Engineering 3 way Drag Shocks, KY-Clutch and a SD ShorTune.

Here is the video of the pass. I'm very sure there is more left in the car with a stronger rear that will hold a much more violent launch.

DA at time of pass was 3050ft

Going to shoot for a DIY fabed 8.8. Reason I'm not really pushing this car is cause it's my DD and I have another F-body that is in the middle of being built that already has a Moser 9".

thanks for the compliments.

10s aren't that hard with a 10 bolt. Mine went 10.5@136mph last fall before it got a fab9 with a bone stock 10 bolt. But that was only a 1.67 60' and clutching it out of the hole

The nitrous does most of the work there... I've not gotten any good NA passes with the car because of the tall 28" slick I run and the 3.73 gear. It needs alot more gear like 4.30's or so with a 28" slick to do much on motor. But the best i've gotten NA so far is a 12.21@119mph that was on a 1.84 60ft.

Just to add to the specs on the car... it is FULL weight and still has A/C that blows cold. All bumper supports still intact, all sway bars. Only weight reduction at all was the wheels and tires.
