rt doesn't have anything to do with your times unless your in brackets.

On the thread topic, my friend runs 12.8's on your same set up. His raceweight is 3560 and uses 275's for the tire

You have a 2.73'd 6-speed? What kind of mileage does it get on the interstate?

I managed 12.9s at 106 with 2.73s and 245mm Kumhos. You're trapping better than I did, but also 60ing no better. You should be able to snag a 12.9.

yeah I have a 6 speed I converted it about a couple of months ago..**** on the highway this thing is great on gas...If you have an a4 you should have an adv over my car....I only shift 3 times in the 1/4 but my best 60 is 1.9 trying to drop alittle plus really need to come out of the hole alot better...I just boxed my rear suspension to see if that makes a difference...I really wanna hit 12's before I get some radials, then intake...etc.

Why torture yourself? So you can say that you went 12's on regular radials?

there are alot of guys I know that have camaro's that do 12's all day stock ls1 with bolt on but just full suspension work ....not trying to torture myself it's just knowing that I can better myself as a driver to get where I wanna be stock before I take my car to the next level like cam etc. It is like if every little thing I do to my car I want to at least make myself feel better by doing a better time the next time I am at the track ...I know if I want faster I am going to have to pay for it but I want the best time out of my car right now at this moment...speed is an addiction an I know you know that with a 10 sec killer that you have
