Default New best and broke my rear

This friday i was out at GLD to test my new gear 4.56 and cut out well the car was hit or miss so i was happy with my 3rd run my new best 1.52 60 foot and a 11.22 at 123 short shifting cuz i was pissed off on how the car left and then the next run i upped the 2 step to 6900 and well i left the line at and the car jumped forward then nothing and it made a bad noise haha. well i twisted the splines on my axles and ripped the splines out of my spool

yes i sure have with my old gear 3.89 and a 26 tire. i swaped to a 4.56 and friday night was the first time out with the 4.56 gear amd 28 tire and cut out And i went a 1.52 so i still have some bugs to work out prob would of been in the 1.4x if it didnot break.

yeah it didnt look pretty from the stands...the driver side rear did not move an inch...glad you did need a tow...

i called them they told me sorry cant help you out but we can help you buy new parts to replace your broken once. So then i called strange. Plus strange is 30min drive away from me lol

That's crazy. I bought my whole setup direct from Moser, and I still have the warranty card. It goes out 5 years IIRC.

That's BS man, but aren't those 9" Mosers like $2500?? For that price, it should be almost bulletproof!

This is another deterrent that's keeping me from spending that kind of money on a rearend. I'll take my chances with my junk stocker for now..
