Default Time for a drag bar /sway bar

I went to the track yesterday looking for a NB but it didn't happen. The car was twisting so badly I just called it a day after 2 passes and went and watched the Bears get destroyed.

Results were 11.193 @119 1.48 sixty
11.103 @119 1.46 sixty

That sure as hell isn't Chicagoland.

You're almost pulling the drivers wheel off the ground - that's not good

I want to guess at the car in the other lane. Hopefully you remember

The pic I posted is from Bryron IL it looks similar to the shot from the shootout but is a totally different shot.

Jeff, you definitely need a drag bar with all that power twisting the car drastically. Is the car still have the stock piece?

Ya it's still the stock piece Butch and the Circle D converter hits really hard I'm loving it. Hoping with the drag bar might even bring the sixty down a touch more.

I put a SPohn solid 1 inch chrome moly bar in mine, its not a drag bar but it works damn good.

I ran the 1.43 60ft on a bent stock swaybar, have yet to try this one yet except at the local 600 ft track it bettered its 60 ft by .03 at that track. In much worse air.

Wow that's some body roll....

Our anti roll bar would help immensely in your situation. When the body is moving that drastic it is not allowing the car to plant both tires equally which in turn is hurting your 60' times.

As mentioned by other members we have had great success with our bar.

If you have any questions please feel free to ask

Me: BMR

I used to have some pretty massive body roll as well. I had full suspension with adjustable shocks and everything. I tried the drag-bag thing, but that was a royal PITA.

Installed the BMR drag bar, and even in neutral setting it was damn near level coming out of the hole. Not only does it help 60's, it makes the car much more predictible.

This was me at the LSx shootout in '08. Pretty close to level launch at that point, and a nice SMOOTH transition of power made me look like I almost knew what i was doing, haha:

Thanks BMR!!

Spohn drag/swaybar here. It made a night and day difference the way the car leaves.

Those are great pics and your car looks perfectly level. Did your sixty drop much if any?

Thanks.

In all fairness I made other changes along with the swaybar that did drop the 60 foot. Car has gone 1.30 and leaves very level with no body twist. The Spohn unit works VERY well. The only drawback to a drag swaybar over an antiroll bar is weight. They are heavy as hell but it's literally right on the rear axle.

The TRZ bolt in anti-roll/ panhard combo works great and is also very light. You have seen my car work Jeff so you know.
