11.56 Stock Internals N/A
Well it FINALLY cooled off enough here tonight to make a track trip worthwhile.
My previous best was an 11.702 @ 115.66 w/ a 1.63 60'. That was this January, the DA was around -900.
Changes since then are:
Moser 12 bolt w/ 3.73s replaced the stock 10 bolt w/ 3.23s and a trashed LSD.
Short belt
Truck coil swap
15x8 Summit stars w/ Hoosier 275/50 drag radials replaced 26x10.50-16 ET Streets on salad shooters. (a few lbs lighter per wheel/tire combo)
Tonight's pass:
60': 1.523
1/4: 11.568
MPH: 115.40
The DA for that pass was -200.
I'm happy for the new best, but overall I'm disappointed. I was hoping for an 11.3x @ 118 or so. I'm ditching the truck coils tomorrow, they didn't work for me, that's for sure. I'm probably one of the guys that lost 10hp up top. I'm not going to be able to hit the track again for several months either since I'm moving to Ohio in like 10 days.

Great times man, Congrats! Could you share some specs with us?
Race weight?
launch RPM?
Just trying to dial in my cam only combo, look at my sig and you will see that you are outrunning my car by 2 tenths but your 60 ft is 2 tenths better than mine also. It appears you are picking up 1.5 in the 1/4 for every 60ft just as my car does. With that being said if I cut the same 60ft as you I will be in the 11.4s which still brings me to the fact that your Stock Internal car is just as fast as my Cam Only. (sorry to hijack)
Just trying to get some real world scenarios to judge my car against.
Once again great times!!!

Good times, Mike. Way to move up like 15 spots on the SI list. Any tracks near where you are going?

Race weight was 3430. To launch the car I bring the revs up to 1000 or so and just stab and steer.

I heard that is a really shitty track. There aren't any good DAs in the spring or fall?

Congrats! Nice Times, I gotta try that shortbelt I can't wait to get back to the track now that the weather seems to have finally broke!
Do you have the part number, or know the length of that shortbelt?

Its no where near as nice as Norwalk but Norwalk is probably the nicest drag strip I have ever seen. Spring and fall you can get some good times but summer always sucks. For what its worth my old trans am had its fastest pass at Kilkare after being at Norwalk the weekend before.

It was a TP4000 with a str of 2.55 and with the 4400 I dropped form 11.52 to the 11.39 but the weather could have been slightly better I cant really remember since its been 7yrs. but the car still runs mid 11's everytime I go to the track but race weight is now 3400 sice I put the stock factory seats back in and now have a 6pt . Now I have a magnacharger on top off the stock motor to see if I can go mid 10's
