Default 11's with bolt ons! c5

Well although the event didnt go as planned i had some very good runs including an 11 sec pass with bolt ons
99 FRC stock motor, stock heads ect, stock trans
LG street LT's, x pipe, ti catback, vortex intake, ported TB, plugs wires therm. TEX clutch, DTE stg 3 diff with 4.10's, 275x40 MT et street radials.
1st pass bogged launch 12.38 @ 114mph with a 1.85 60'
2nd pass 12.16 @ 115 mph with a 1.78 60'
3rd pass 12.08 @ 115.0 mph with a 1.70 60'
getting closer changed some tire pressures and went back out.
4th pass
12.04 @ 115.2 mph with a 1.67
5th and final pass!
1.656 60' BEST
4.926 330'
7.651 et 1/8 BEST
88.89 mph 1/8 BEST
9.987 1000
11.93 1/4 et BEST
115.95 mph BEST
So finally 11's with bolt on's I was really excited and was not doing any more mods until i did.
Thanks to the forum and all the guys who posted there track advice and experience as it greatly helped me get here. Also thanks to pit for last minute advice and thanks for posting pics on the pony wars thread

Looks good.
Put a LS6 intake and udp and it should go mid 11's

Very nice! + 1 for LS6 intake and UD pulley. Maybe even remove Spare tire/ jack and passenger seat. So what gear and rpm are you flyin through the traps at?

Its a c5. There is no spare tire or jack. GM already gave him the weight savings

lol spare tire if you get a flat tow truck they think runcraps will help you make it to the next gas station to get a tire or fix good runs tho good runs!!

With the runflats you are able to go 50 miles at 55 mph with no air in the tires. My c6 with no air in the tires doesn't even look like its out of air.

Vettes have been coming without a spare since 1997, the first use of the runcraps on a vette.

Thanks guys, and yes the car has been weight reduced via GM lol,
Running through traps at 6200ish, i am running 4.10's
and forgot to add my ls6 intake to my mod list, but maybe with a lil more shift speed and a ud pulley setup i can shave a lil more time

Something to ponder.

Since you do have a 6-speed, running a bias ply will allow you to leave out of the gate faster. If I remember correctly they are also lighter than drag radials which will save you a good bit of rotating mass.

That will probably happen when the radials wear out, I may try and find some skinnys and work on my shifting a bit to maybe a 11.8x!
