Default Took the TBSS to the track...

I was suppose to be getting a stall tomorrow as well as dropping the tb 1". I went to the track to get a before and after number. My hopes were to get a mid to low 13 which didn't happen.

I only made one pass due to having my wife and small kids in the stands and the line being very long. I only left at idle and the results were...
60' 2.18
330 5.86
1/8 8.886
mph 82.06
1/4 13.70
mph 102.03

Excuses: The car did not seem as fast as normal as it did not break the tires in first or second. The tranny is sometimes alittle sluggish but I'm hoping changing the fluid with the converter install will eliminate this. I also did not get a chance to try raising my rpms to see what would work best. I am going back next friday solo so I can make a few passes. Then saturday the converter will be installed(3200).

My wife has been wanting ghost flames forever but I told her I wouldn't do it on a slow ride and it had to at least run 12s. If it does not crack a 12 with the stall then I may have to park it in the nearest ditch!

Nice times!!! I can't wait to get my buggy to the track. I've got an '07 AWD with Stainless Works LTs, Magnaflow CB, IEATSRT8 intake, and a tune. I'm hoping for mid-13s.

With about 370rwhp, I really thought I would have done better. The mods are kooks lts and o/r y, pullies, efans, k&n cold air, and a b&m cooler and deep pan.

I wasn't sure where I could get the weather info. I looked on the track site and checked weather.com but no luck. I do know it was humid as hell. Today I did end up getting the converter installed. I'll test it out tomorrow to see if I can notice a difference.

I've only taken the TB SS to the track once and ran the ET in the sig. Only mod was a mild tune. I've since added a homemade cai and more aggressive tune so it should run better.

A good tune will change that quite a bit.

I took my 1ss RWD TBSS to the track three times, the first I went I went from 14.7 to 14.2 just letting it cool off.

Next time I went I dropped the spare, and practiced more, and went 13.84@99 with the spare out and all stock.

Next I had a cai and a little bit of tuning, not sure what Jim changed, and I went 13.7@101 on a high 2.1 tires would not hook.

I should try again before it gets hot but I think I can run maybe a 13.6 as it sits with newer stock tires.

I think you should run 13.3's at least as is, you should go back and practice more... Maybe even a 13.2.

I dynoed 35x rwhp stock.
