Default mustang 6.0 swap

Finally got to run my mustang last nite. Its a stock bottom end LQ4, cam, ported stock 317 heads, power glide, 3200 stall, 4:11 gear, drag radials, 850 pro systems carb, long tube header with some bullets . Full interior and still has the bumper supports. Gonna try to remove some weight and later get a restall on my conveter. Also going to mill my heads and fly cut pistons still at stock compression.

I think once I figure out the 2 step and trans brake it sould go some 6.70s with some cooler weather. It traped a few 100mph passes.

Can't believe that low compression motor is running that good. Why are you flu cutting? The piston has a nice dish in it.

not bad at all.... but check this link out. We have a guy here that has a 6.0 in his mustang w/ a polluter cam and a stock set of 799's that were milled to bump the compression and of course all the other essentials. He just ran a 6.20 (1/8)and a 9.90(1/4). http://www.horsepowerjunkies.com/for...d.php?t=104902
