Default first time at track in new car

well i went to a local track 1/8th mile to do some grudge racing. r
2007 corvette c6 z51 package
bone stock run flat (good year eagle f1) tires
slp lts
highflow cats
x pipe
b&b bullet exhaust
cai
tune

first run was against a a4 c5 with cai
he dead hooked and i bogged off the line caught him extremely fast hit 2nd gear destroyed the tires let off got back in it destroyed tires again and went
60ft 2.200
1/8th 8.744
mph 91

2nd run against a heavily modded charger r/t very quick car for wat it is.
Left traction control on this time but launched at higher rpm and spun off the line hit second destroyed the tires let out got back in it and traction control kicked in.

60ft 2.378
1/8th 8.929
mph 92.25

i need tires bad i cant launch it hard at all or shift hard or i just spin really bad. with my traps i should be low 8's high 7's if i get some tires right?

Yea you could say that lol; once these street tires start spinning at the strip they dont wanna stop haha. I think if i had some nt555r's and could get a good launch and not spin i could run in the 7's at around 94 to 95. Especially in better weather.
