Default Full weight NA LT1 street tires

Just got back from my first and pnly pass of the year

Cars a 396, mild cam 236/244 112 LSA .570 lift
11.5 to 1
touched up TFS (280 CFM)
Single 3 inch exhaust BLAH
3000 vig
3.23 gear BLAH AGAIN
BALD 2 yr old street tires

1.90 60'
11.83
119 MPH

i had some serious tranny issues because i just changed from a 4.10 to 3.23 rear and the car seemed to sit on the limiter after it passed 6200 RPM so i think id have a 120 MPH pass if that didnt happen, what do you guys think? went through the traps at around 5500 RPM

raceweight was 3600 with me in it, i cant believe how hard the car hook, i rolled into it and it went! haha.

Nice time considering the 60'. That cam isn't mild for an lt1 though. It sounds like you have the power to run low 11s, just put some real tires on it she will fly.

I hear ya. I'm on borrowed time on my stock rear in the SS. All it took was a close visit with the wall on street tires for me to put the drag tires back on. Too bad GM never had the foresight to put a real rear in their performance cars. Good luck to ya.
