Talking stock internal ls1 almost makes the top 10quickest

well i almost didnt go to the track today cause at the last moment i felt like ****,but i decided i didnt swap wheels for nothing plus its been a half a year since i have taken martin luther.
i lost 80lbs and raced in slightly cooler weather since my p.b,all in all those two things attributed to me gaining a solid mph over my last track session,60foots remained about the same.

1st pass
(crappy, but i knew it was gonna get better by that bad 60' and the temps were just gonna keep falling)
60'--------1.64
1/4-------11.66@117.37

2nd
set my shock settings,new p.b in mph & e.t
60'------1.57
1/4------11.51@117.62

3rd
60'------1.58
1/4-----11.51@117.96(new best mph as of now)

as of now im itching for that 11.4 after running two 11.51s back to back

4th pass
i think i stalled, rolled the beams then took off ?
60'------1.70
1/4------11.67@117.25

5th and final passed
got behing 2 slick cars so they left the starting line hot and sticky, stalled her as high as she can go and bam it felt fast but i didnt think it would go this fast.
60'-----1.55
1/8----7.25@93.32
1/4----11.43@118.14

sorry for the long post but im super excited cause now i know it can go a 11.3 and maybe just maybe 11.2s
new plans for my next goal is to lose around 60lbs,change my ramair setup, change my y pipe, and make the car more aerodynamic.

11.43@118.14 1.55' that makes martin luther #13 on the quickest stock internal list

Awesome runs! Those kind of days at the track are the best no doubt!

FWIW you can shed 60lbs out of a car in 15 minutes flat at the track with 2 people turning wrenches.
!pass seat
!pass seatbelts (bring a torx)
!the heavy plastic panel right under the column
!gas from the tank. If you are going for a PB only put a few gallons in the tank. Bring a 5 gallon can with you and leave with a friend or whatever and add a splash as needed.
!rear seats
!rear seat belts
! door panels (each weigh around 8.5lbs)

what converter you have plenty more in it with the 60ft... with my little ss3600 and only 116mph I pulled a 1.54...if I had the ss4000 it would have been 1.4x all day...

congrats on the mph now get that 60ft down...

Awesome, awesome work man. I agree that the 60' time is holding you back from 11.3s. Any idea what the car weighs? What weight reduction have you done?

Very nice what ram air do you have now...seems like you might be getting alot of air now with that mph...

Also if I were you the best thing you could do right now is get a ss4000 and sell you ss3600 for 500ish so the difference is only a few hundred...it will drop you another .1-.15...definitely a must mod and it will work great down the road when you go cam only or heads and cam...

I just pulled a 1.32 with my heads cam setup and also a 1.42 on the rear tires ...

This car will go 11.2s no problem with 118mph and a ss4000...
