Default 11.992@120.40mph!???

My buddy ran his car friday and got an 11.90 at 120.
I was just seeing if the mph seems right.
Every other f body I see with that mph is in the 10s.
Here is the slip.
60' 2.010
330 5.283
1/8 7.879
Mph 94.52
1000' 10.113
1/4 11.992
Mph 120.40

Looks like his 60' and 1/8th mile are pretty slow for his 1/4 speed. Sounds like he definitely needs slicks/radials, and a good launch.

I think it is about right. A stickier tire will help some, but with a stock converter you're limited on launching. My formula has gone 11.80s @119 mph with a 1.99 sixty foot time on M/T tires.

MPH seems fine....but his 60' time needs a lot of help. He either needs to get a better tire, or keep working his launch abilities. In my opinion...it needs a converter too!

A convertor and sticky tires would drop at least .5 seconds off that time.

Get those 60ft times down to 1.5 or 1.6 and he should be right there!!! Nice mph for the mods too.
