Default Another "Look at my timeslip!" thread lol

Went to the track for the first time in a while tonight, and for the first time with a set of ET Street bias ply tires. Car is a 2001 Camaro stock 6.0 with a 125$ used Cammotion cam, stock 01 intake, ported tb (by me) pacesetter headers, crappy tci 3500 stall, and a trans-go hd-2 shift kit, with a HSW sudden impact plate with the 150 pills in it. car has a 2.73 gear in it. weighs around 3570 with me in it. 3420 with fuel, me not in it.

Motor pass:

1.809 60 ft
5.112 330 ft
7.350 594 ft

7.827 1/8 ET

94.16 1/8 MPH

Nitrous Pass: (note: did not shift into 3rd because my shift mph point was off but ran out of time since we got there late)

1.726 60 ft
4.727 330 ft
6.761 594 ft

7.195 1/8 ET

103.66 1/8 MPH

Like i said we got there with 1 hr to play with and i had problems with my WOT switch not engageing and didnt know it until the last couple passes. didnt have time to retune for the mph 2/3 shift change. not to bad for a junkyard lq4, 125$ cam and a lil spray! tell me what you think!

im guessing that is a 594 ft track and they compute the rest for the 660'. Thats probably why the mph seems a lil high.

its i-57 dragstrip, not sure if they calculate it off 594ft or not, ill see what i can find. I was pretty happy considering that was the only pass i got to spray the full track, my pass before that (which was last call lol i hurried up and got back in line) was a 7.2 at 97mph with the kit kickin off about 3/4 or so down the track. i'll probably be going back next weekend to try it out again, ill be sure to fix my micro-switch engage problem before i go lol.

oh yeah talking about the track being upset lol, they got on to me because no helmet, its kinda a old track i guess and they really dont care what you run, my buddy ran a 6.84 at 106mph and they got pretty pissed he didnt have a helmet on lol. i agree i need to get my 60ft down, that shoulda been a 6.80 pass considering the mph. (if its correct lol)

lq4 or lq9?

i don't think the mph seems high. my friend's cam only car did almost the exact same thing on motor and a 150 hit. his 1/8 pass the car went 7.40s @ 93 with a high 1.6x 60' and trapped 116 in the 1/4. on the hit he went 104 1/8 and 129 1/4...

he had an ls6 intake, stock tb, pulley, etc. pacesetter headers and cam w/supporting valvetrain. 323 rear gear w/yank 4k stall. nothing special, but it worked good.

motor pass seems odd given the 60 and 1/8 et...the trap speed does seem way high. my bolt on car went mid 7.8x @ 85 leaving in 2nd gear with an almost identical 60'.

lq4, i can post a pic of the timeslip but it looks identical to what i posted lol. it ran consistant 7.8's at 93-94mph on motor, only had 2 runs on spray because of time limits.. may be the track i dont know but my best 60ft was a 1.6 and all the others were 1.7-1.8. the 1.6, the kit cut off about 3/4 down the track it went as follows

1.669 60 FT
4.666 330 FT
6.775 594 FT
7.235 1/8 ET
97.65 1/8 MPH
