Default Ran 11.557 Tonight

I made my goal of 11.5 tonight; the first time at the track with the car. Any faster and I need a roll cage. 1.937 60 foot, 11.557 1/4 at 123.5 MPH with a 150 shot. Spun off the line and hit the rev limiter between first and second on that run so I know the car has more in it.

I ran a little on the hot side on the way home so I am hoping I just lost some water somewhere as long as it is not through a head gasket...

Anyone know a good (and inexpensive) roll cage place in Central MD?

Tires are BFG drag radials - 275/60/15. The first couple of runs I had way too much air and had 25 lbs with the final 11.5 second run. I know that's too much so next time I'll drop it down to 15 -20. Seems to be the recommendation?

Anyway, I had a blast. Has been 5 years since I've been down the track.

Leaving off the bottle those tires will work good at 18-20. Otherwise I'd run them at 20-22. Those tires work stay with it

Heads/cam/ + juice should be 10's easy and even 9's in some occasions.

Whoa, something's really wrong if Heads/Cam/150 hit = 11.50's. MPH seems way low for the parts you're talking about. What cam? What heads? What intake? What gear? What did it run on motor? You should be picking up 15mph on a 150 hit.

For the sake of information, we had an 02 Formula, with bolt on's, the same SSF3500, and a 125 hit of dope that ran 11.0's all day at 124 through the stock exhaust manifolds.

Yeah, I have an appointment with the tuning man in a couple of weeks. The car is not running like it should. I do have EFI Live and understand the theory behind tuning, but am not going to pretend like I know what I'm doing.
