Default Does my trap speed seem right?

Ok took the car to the track this past weekend and me and my buddy each got a few passes in. The best was with him driving 8.4 @ 87.5mph and I ran an 8.6 @ 87, ya I suck, I need to work on my 60fts but thats not what im worried about. I was just wondering if the trap speeds look normal for a cam only car. This was also on street tires, pretty much no launch to save the 10 bolt and a pissy stock clutch. Im thinking that maybe my clutch even though its not slipping all the time is letting some power go, I figure it should be trapping about 90mph. Mods are in my sig. BTW ya this is 1/8th mile.

What was the DA?

It seems a tad low to me for a stick car with that size cam. I would expect 90-91 in normal conditions.

google drag times da calulator and you can input your track, date, then match it to the time you made the pass to get the DA. Then you can enter your times and see what they correct to.

They didn't have my track on there lol, im in bumsfuckville. The closest one they had on there to me is 420ft above sea level so not a whole lot. I did bog it a little, im not sure if my buddy did or not on his run. I figure with et streets, a good clutch and a rear end I could launch at 4k I should be able to get a 7.9x but I figured my mph should be a little higher so im thinking the clutch is on its last legs. It was pretty stinky at the track.

Its bit low IMO, but like you said your clutch isn't the greatest and you bogged a little. Just keep practicing.

good choices! youll def see the mph where it should be once those are installed. as for now, your mph is down to mostly blowing through the clutch

what 60's are you pulling?

Even with just that MPH you have and a 1.75-1.79 60ft you should be running 7.8-7.9

With a clutch that isn't slipping and a better 60ft you should be mid 7s. That altitude may be low, but DA factors in weather. If its really hot/humid you could be running in over 1200-1800Ft corrected.
