Default Went 1.41 60' with 424 rwhp and 3600+ lbs

Headed out to "Day of Destiny" Runday Sunday to take advantage of some nice weather. Santa came a little early for me... I finally got something I've been chasing for over 5 years...

Three weeks ago I went to Runday Sunday and ran this..

I was hoping to run a little quicker and these were my first two runs..

Here's the video of those runs:

http://youtu.be/UapN4xWYiNA

I decided to launch the car off the Trans Brake this time. First time trying the tbrake with the nitrous. I will admit, the launch caught me a little off guard. I was quite surprised when I saw the timeslip...

Run down of my car:

Stock LS1 w/86K miles
Headers
Dual Exhaust
FTI TH400
FTI 4200 Stall
9" w/ 3.75 gears
BMR suspension
325 Radials
weight: 3480 w/out driver
Nitrous

nice times, curious where did you get the 3:75 gear for a 9"? All I can find is 3:70s and then it goes up to 3:89

150 shot of spray

I bought my complete rear end from Brute Speed. When you choose your gears you have an option of 3.75s. However, when I just looked at 9" gears they sell, I noticed the same thing. 3.70s or 3.89s?? You might be able to just call Bob and see if he can order the gears directly. Is it a Moser 9"?

325/50/15... 28" tall tire.

Some of the gears Moser sells went from the standard 3.70 ratio to a 3.75 ratio this year. Bob

Sorry Bob.. I'm not sure where Bruce came from. I must have mixed Bob and Brute together or something. Lol

Can you order 3.75 gears if people want them?

Btw, my 9" has worked flawlessly. Thanks again.

A couple BMR cars getting it done! After a few more tweaks we should be able to get both cars to go a little faster. We are still waiting for the good air to get down here to Florida.

1.4 is getting the hell outt a dodge. your car is performing well with minimal mods. also...that black firebird that raced you in that vid was unreal....he was like 10+ lengths on you and you were pretty much running high 10's. i was thinking you were going to light him up.

1.4x sixty is leaving pretty damn hard, especially for a 3400+ pound car....congrats.

Thanks everyone. The best 60' previously was 1.49 but mainly have gone 1.5x. The 1.41 felt awesome. Can't wait to add some more power and go 1.3s.

I have to give credit to the guys at BMR. They've got this car Hookin'.

BMR adj. LCAs
BMR relocation brackets
BMR adj. Torque Arm
BMR Xtreme Sway Bar
BMR lowering springs in the front

I'm still on stock shocks. 86k miles. Stock springs in rear, cut to lower car. Removed front sway bar.

The Trans Am in the other lane was gator's_99ta... it would have looked even worse if I hadn't cut a good light while the old man was snoozing at the tree.
