02 SS vs 10 SS?
I just got my car.. 02 SS 70k slp lid,k&n filter, smooth bellow, e-cutout and a lm2, auto.
Friends dads car: 2010 SS 6spd with magnaflow muffler.
He keeps talking **** about how I should have bought a Real camaro and his is fast because he got a 6spd and a magnaflow muffler lol..
So would I pull him or would it be pretty even? Im on 275 BFG's in the rear.

It would take a really really bad driver in the 2010 to lose this race. It's a stock auto 4th gen with a cutout vs a 6 speed 5th gen with a catback. Sorry to say but you're going to be beat. Full bolt on 4th gens run with stock 5th gens.

Yes he drives the car well. I trap high 110 to 111 it traps 107

Yea, because I said that Your car rolls out hard, you also have almost every bolt on and you cut a nasty 60'. That's my point, A4 LS1 f-bodys need more than a cutout and lid to run with a 5th gen that can cut anywhere near a 2.0 60'.

It also depends on what type of gears you have. 2.73's like mine and your car will only be worth a damn from a dig, forget roll races, unless it's 75MPH+.
If he's a decent driver I think the '10 Camaro SS will have a slight lead on you throughout the race, but not exactly burn you. If he's a mediocre driver you'll beat him out by just a tad. Anything can happen in these races, I beat a 2011 Mustang GT with exhaust in my Camaro, twice.

Yes he did. Was Jason.
Bingo
Yes, and the LS1s beat them usually. I'm saying you need some bolt ons or a stall to beat a well driven stock 5th gen. The way people talk in here you'd think the LS1 is going to walk him hard. The OP has a good shot, but he has to get out front early and hope the other guy doesn't come around.

If your dad can drive-you are going to lose.
