Default 11.7 @113mph with 1.84 60ft, Only 365rwhp, 3700lbs w/driver on STREET TIRES, VIDEO!!!

I did the results showing at Sacramento Raceway 5-2-2012. I think its alright considering what it has and on a street tire and the weight of the car.

1998 Trans Am
Stock LS1
Stock 5.3L (706) Heads
Stock Thottle Body
Stock Air MAF
Stock Bellow
SLP Air Lid
LS6 Intake Manifold
Stock O/E Type muffler
Comp Cam 230 .595 114 camshaft
4L60E
Yank SS400
Stock 10-Bolt rear end
3.73 gears
275/60/15 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires (400 treadwear @34psi)

I think with a better flowing head and a better flowing TB it can pick up mph on the top end. And Also I have a NOS kit that is going on by June.

The best its hit is 11.32 @115mph 1.48 60ft on a 275/50/15 MT DR and the cutout open.

Here is the time slip:

Here is the video on street tires:

Nice runs, gives me hope I'm trapping around the same but only mustered a 2.23 60ft for 13.03.

That thing is running a great time for the mph....and looking at your 1/8th mph I'm thinking two things are going on. 1- The car is just straight up falling on it's face in the 2nd 1/8th. A 94mph 1/8th should be bottom 120's in the 1/4...even with an auto. Or 2- The tracks timer system is malfunctioning.

I'm not saying your times aren't possible, but that mph is really really slow. With that 60' and ET I'd figure something closer to 120mph in the 1/4.

Good run

I'm thinking the same thing as black00ssfl

ive gone 11.96@113mph on a 1.69 60' with my 6spd trans am and that was with having to shift into 4th slowly just so it'd go in

I also had an 11sec street tire pass, but with bolt ons, stock 3.42 rear. cut almost the same 60' as you did. it was a 1.83 60' 1/8 mile 7.71 @ 93.74mph 1/4 was 11.89@118.27mph

if i had to guess, my car weighed around 3380 with me in it.

nice 60' and ET but you might want to look into the mph. i ttried to view the video but it said an error occured

lol, not gaining 4 mph from those mods. He's got the power....he's trapping 94mph in the 1/8th! Something is just up on the back end, my first thought is 3rd gear slippage.

Might be the track's timing system the car next to him only picked up 7mph from the 1/8th mile

I dont get it either. He's trapping 5 mph faster than me in the 1/8th, but 1mph slower in the 1/4. I would start with Moge's suggestion. I saw a huge gain in trap from doing those free mods...

The track where he raced has had time issues for a while. I would race at another local track and I'd trap 1-3mph less and run .2-3 tenths slower...

For a while cars were trapping way too high on the big end...I wish they would get it fixed.

Car runs good though! I hope to be out there soon with the new setup
