Just what it says, how much power in an automatic does it usually take to drop a second at that level. my car went 11.0 at 119 with 324 horse Stock Motor and my new motor will be about 225 horse MORE so im thinking its a 9 second car now

it takes way more power to go from a 12.0 to a 11.0 then ity does to go from a 13.0 to a 12.0 and the quicker you get the more that amount climbs. hard to say how much 225 more hp will net you but the thing that isnt making a bunch of sense is you say you went 11.0 at 119 with only 325 hp, this either means your car is very very light or you actually making more then 325 hp. but look for at around a 1 second drop give or take a tenth or two. if you read in this forum section you will see a guy that just recently went from 10.8 to 10.0 with a 200 shot.

Yeah that is a lot of mph for 325hp.I was thinking it would take 400hp to run 119mph.

Last time out with my car it ran a 10.97@126.40 on motor (450/393), this is with a 1.57 60ft.
On a 150 hit of spray it ran a 10.10@134.77 (547/481), with a 1.46 60 ft.
So, I think you got a 9 sec car!
