Default 5.97 in the 1/8 @ 116.7

Well after 2 seasons of having small problems with the car I finally did some changes and invested some money in a vacuum pump. I took the car out and ran 4 different passes ranging from 6.08 to 5.97 at the 1/8. The local track where I race is 1000 ft long so I could not get 1/4 mile times but it did run 7.71 at the 1000ft mark at 136mph. The car is a nitrous car and that was on the 175 shot.

It is a 414 with PRC heads and a power glide 4k stall and a 12 bolt rear end.

It is definitely fun but that second pass for some reason my tire pressure on the passenger side tire was off and caused the car to want to go to the wall. I had to let out for a second to get it back in the right direction

Congrats. What issues were you having before the vac pump and what do you run na? Which vac pump did you go with? I'm looking at one for my nitrous car.

I went with the GZ motorsports with the manual tensioner. The car kept blowing oil from random places because the crankcase pressure and poor ventilation.

The car runs 6.6 to 6.7 at the 1/8 and 8.7 at the 1000ft mark that should be around 10.40 in the quarter mile.

I don't remember seeing your car. But 9.82 is not bad for a 100 shot.

Thanks man, I am planning a trip to a 1/4 mile track to get some updated numbers. Last time I ran at a 1/4 mile track it ran a 9.69 but the car is now 4 tenths faster at the 1000ft mark.
