Default new best 1/8th mile time.

Last night was the first time I have ever run 1/8th mile. Best was a 7.65 at 87.9 with a 1.58 60 foot. Car has ss4000 stall bbk longtubes and y pipe ls6 intake tune wa1 coilovers in the front and some other minor suspension stuff. I will be getting rid of my 28 inch tires for some 26s.over all im pretty happy for bolt ons and a 186k stock internal motor.

edit... da was around 1000ft

I'd say its running very well, nice times I agree with the tire change as well, may help the 60' a bit more although it isn't all that shabby now.

Nice work. 60' is really good. But for some reason the MPH seems low to me. Either way, great run.

Yeah car has 3.42 gears with 28 inch tires. Hopefully going back to a 26 will help mph also hoping for a little better 60

Yeah, I would think you could probably trap around 92-94 MPH with that time. You have a strong running car. What does the car weigh?

Helluva run! that thing is HOOKING! ....Do you have your free mods done???? If not, DEFINITELY gut your lower airbox and port your throttle body, and it will more than likely trap 88.5-89.5 mph and dip into the the 7.5x's!

That thing is leaving like a beast.

Mine only does a 1.68-1.72 60ft and hits ~7.4@94-95mph at 3600lbs or so. Really thinking of going from the SS3600 to a SS4000.

you really should look at a 44-4600.... We have a Precision 4600 in a bolt on car, and i wouldnt ever go any smaller!

Free mods are done but the bbk exhaust is tiny and holding me back a ton. Plans are texas speed 1 7/8 long tubes to 3 inch y pipe to 4 inch flowmaster merge. Bbks have a 2.5 inch headers and 2.5 inch y pipe and merge. Also want to drop about 200 more lbs out of the car. Should go decently into the 11s bolt ons only with some decent weather!

honestly i dont think the bbk's are hurting you that bad.. like you said, put the 26" tire on there and youll pick up huge, no doubt. Happy bbk customer here, hopefully be going 114-115 stock stall and 3.42's in the same DA

i bet the bbk's are costing him 8+hp and equal torque over what he has planned... the collector and y-pipe are tiny!
