I'm new to racing this car but not drag racing. I used to drag race motorcycles. I believe all mods are in my sig, but basically self ported 241s, no milling, TV2 cam, BTR springs, LS6 intake, self ported TB, Free mods, 4l60e, unknown VIG stall(was in car when bought off dealer lot)pacesetter longtubes, off road y, magnaflow catback, e cut out. Car has intrax lowering springs, founders SFC, LCA, PHB, third gen rear sway bar, front swaybar removed, weld big and littles with MT 275/60/15 on rear, 3.73 in 10 bolt. Probably about 100 lbs in weight reduction(front and rear bumper supports gone, abs delete, air pump removed from front seat, has leather interior, fiberglass bolt on hood, spare tire and jack removed). Now I have not weighed the car but I think it's still heavy. At the track I ran on motor with my nitrous set up in and it weighs 65 lbs(2 bottles mounted on removal board) and I also had two kids car seats in the back seat and also about 30 pounds of junk I should have removed at the track but didn't. The nitrous system is two wet nozzles, first stage is 45hp on the throttle, second is 85 hp on a button, window switch, wot switch, 5 degrees pulled when system is armed. Br7ef plugs. Car was dyno tuned by frost and made 385 hp. Where am I lacking?

Runs:

Cut out closed:
60: 1.7336
330: 5.0411
1/8: 7.7641
mph: 89.52
1/4: 12.1493
mph: 114.39

Cut out open:
60: 1.7639
330: 5.0481
1/8: 7.7491
mph: 90.31
1/4: 12.0965
mph: 115.21

Next run was literally identical to run above and the DA was 1450' on both passes

Cut out open, one stage of nitrous through nos nozzle (.034n/.018f) 45hp, window swith 4000-6000

60: 1.7539
330: 4.9514
1/8: 7.5926
mph: 91.69
1/4: 11.8181
mph: 119.24

Next run battery mount broke and positive post on battery grounded against AC dryer and car shut off(had set Window switch to 3000-6200)

Last run window switch set to 3000-6400, first stage same as above, second stage brought in with switch about 60' out on another nos nozzle (.047n/.024f) 85 hp.

60: 1.6950
330: 4.7588
1/8: 7.2953
mph: 95.91
1/4: 11.2935
mph: 126.55

I am happy with the mph and I wanted to run the car as it sets on the street this time but now I really want that 10 second time slip. Car never spun, but I believe the converter is too tight. However, after how soft it was I was considering upping the first stage to match the second. This would give me another 40 hp and improved 60'. Is this where you guys would go from here or what? I will remove more weight from inside the car next outing and try to show up with less gas in the tank.

Id say you are right about the converter. That 60' is terrible for your ET. Id hit it with all of the 150ish shot you are spraying right out of the hole, if it holds...great...if not back it down to 100 ish and so on till you get the most hit the tires can take. Id be willing to bet it will take the 150 hit or close to it though. MPH is plenty strong for 10s already.

Deffinately got 10s in that combo. Throw u a nos fti converter in and coast to tens.See my sig cam only idle launch. My mph was low do to low tire pressure. Fti is the ticket.
