Default New mods, drag times don't make sense

Alright so my ride is 99 Trans Am WS6 with 37k miles.

Two years ago it ran a 13.6 @ 101 with a 2.0 60ft. Only had a lid. Also had bald tires and spun bad off the line.

Just installed LT headers (pacesetter 1 3/4 to 3") and 3" ORY. Bolted that up to my flomaster 80 series. Also have new BFG tires.

**ALSO I had the PCM tuned by Frost for the headers, ory, egr/air/rear O2 delete, etc.

My results tonight for the best run:
13.4 @ 104
2.1 60ft (no spinning)

What gives?? I was expecting somewhere closer to 13.1 @ 108???

The car just doesn't feel likes its pulling as hard top end as it should.

One last bit of info is I periodically have a SES light come on then go off a day later. Haven't had a chance to read it yet.

Sorry for the long post, just hoping for some insight on this. Realistically what should my time be for given mods?

your trap time went up a bit. Maybe a combo of bad weather, and not so good launches caused the lower than expected times. Find out what code is popping up and practice your launches.

Your muffler isn't the best for making power and your 60ft time still is really bad. I would work on the suspension and getting the car to get out of the hole. That will increase your trap speed the most right now besides more seat time.

Can't just compare the times either, you need to know density altitude for both slips.

Ditch the Flowmaster and get the car scanned. The code should show up whether the light is on or not in the history code section.

Is the car an automatic?

You went up 3 mph with a shittier 60', no tune, and probably different air. And a flowmaster.

1. Make sure all your basic maintenance is done. Oil/Plugs/Fuel Filter/Clean air filter/Trans fluid etc.

2. Scan the car to check the code and fix as needed. Get a DYNO tune if you want the most out of your mods, I've never been a fan of canned tunes.

3. Like Thunderstruck said you need to know the DA's from both days for a more accurate comparison.

5. Ditch the shitty slowmaster.

6. Work on your suspension and grab a set of Drag radials so you can hook up and throw down a decent 60'

7. Get a stall, A4 massively benefit from them. You'll notice the biggest difference from that mod alone.

Your mph should definitely be closer to 108/109 for having an auto car with those mods.

Getting rid of the chokemaster should be your first step. Have you done a tune up on it lately?

7mph gain from header and a new flash? That'd be like a 65whp increase. Did Frost put your car on a dyno and tune it? Or was this a mail order deal?

A 3mph gain from headers is nothing to pout about. You'd be mid 12's at 104 if you could hook up decently.

IMO, the factory manifolds aren't a big restriction at your power levels. Personally I would have done a cam first. Then heads and headers if you wanted more.

What time of the year did you go 2yrs ago compared to this time and was it the same track, weather conditions change and will make the car run differently. It looks like you picked up some from the mods just need to get it to hook...(tires).
