Default First time out a little disapointed

Took my GTO out for the first time and was expecting a little better results. Granted, a lot is to be learned by trial and error, but I thought Id be in the mid sevens for sure (1/8th mile track). Trying to figure out what kind of information can be determined from my numbers (i.e. trap speed could mean a 7.xx with the right launch/ 60 ft) BFG Drag radials spun on each launch with 15 PSI in them, I think I need to slip the clutch a little more.

18 inch drag radials are never gonna hook behind a 6 speed. Id try and get a 15 inch bias ply under there. Your mph is pretty damn good. I run 7.55s in the 8th at only 90. If you can get a good 60 foot thats a mid to low 11 second car

60ft and mph tell it all...car is spinning and that's where your time is

your mph is good for at least 7.4 with a 1.8 60ft

That's my goal, hopefully I can get out of the hole a little quicker and rock a 7.5x or less.
